Dale Dan Dupler, age 93 of Columbus, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016. Dan was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Dale and Beatrice Dupler. Also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myrna Smith Dupler and son, Dan Dupler. Dan graduated from Upper Arlington High School, Class of 1940. He later went on to graduate from The Ohio State University where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Dan proudly served his country as a pilot with the US Marine Corps during WWII. Dan worked in sales for various building supply companies throughout his career and also with HER Realtors. He enjoyed following and attending UA high school football games, camping, hiking, and was a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan. Following retirement he also enjoyed woodcarving and metal sculpting. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Kathleen (Reed) Roig; grandchildren, Kate Mead, Tony (Anastasia), Jamie (Tiffany), and Laine Dupler, and Ben Roig; great grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, and Ella Dupler; and other extended family and longtime dear friends.
