Paula Ann Kegley, 55, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday evening, September 10, 2017, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born September 4, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Clarence Andrew Crosby Jr. and Anna Mae (Harris) Crosby.
Paula attended Mansfield Senior High School. Her outgoing personality and love of people fit well with her job as waitress at Mansfield Restaurant and Mr. T’s Coffee House. She attended Grace Bible Church in Lucas and never lost her faith. Her strong will and outspoken demeanor were evident and she was “The Authority” on every matter. Although she battled kidney disease for over 20 years, Paula loved life and, most especially, her family. Having fun was her top priority and she enjoyed shopping, attending parties and being anywhere that had food. She looked forward to taking her grandchildren to the Richland Carrousel. Swimming at the beach in Florida and Myrtle Beach were her favorites.
Paula is survived by three children, Bryan (Tonya) Howell, Jr., Melisa (Ken) Watt and Jason Kegley (Theresa Insua); seven grandchildren, Alexis, Tessa, Madisyn, Natalee, Harley, Kelsey and Bradley; her fiancé, Tony Dawson; mother, Anna Crosby; five siblings, Clarence “Andy” (Jeannie) Crosby III, Cheryl Crosby, Greg (Ivy) Crosby, Brenda (Bob) Howell and Justin Crosby; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2017, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Wayne Presnell will follow at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
