Keith Clyde Anderson, 75, of Pettisville, passed away March 21, 2015 at the University of Toledo Medical Center after a short battle with leukemia. Keith was born in Marion, Ohio on November 9, 1939 to Kenyon and Willelah (Hardin) Anderson. He was a graduate of Clyde High School (1956); the University of Toledo; and received his master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. A long time resident of Pettisville, Keith was a lifelong educator, teaching History and Government for over 30 years, the last 20 of those at Pike Delta York High School. Keith established a mutual respect with his students, creating relationships that lasted years after his retirement. His passion for teaching was not confined to the classroom. He had a 39 year career coaching high school football, basketball, and track. Keith also enjoyed officiating and umpiring even after he retired from teaching. Keith was an avid reader and history buff. He enjoyed time with his children and grandchildren and following his favorite sports teams, the Detroit Tigers and Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a thoughtful, quiet, easy-going and loving husband, father and friend. Keith is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann; son, Kevin (Shelley) of Peoria, Illinois; daughters: Lesley (Larry) of Lancaster, Kentucky; and Megan (Craig) of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Jim (Sandy) of Clyde, Ohio; four nephews, eight grandchildren, and his beloved dog and cat. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenyon and his mother, Willelah. A celebration of his life will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 at the First Universalist Church of Lyons, Ohio with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. and a service and reception to follow. Robert Dale Tolliver, 75, of Fremont , died at his home on Sunday, June 30, 2013. Mr. Tolliver was born in Nelsonville, Ohio on January 6, 1938 to the now deceased Foster and Faye (Coalson) Tolliver. He graduated from -Nelsonville High School in 1956. For thirty-five years he worked at TRW, retiring in 2000. On April 25, 1964, he married Patricia Mesaros. He was a devoted husband until her unexpected death on January 25, 2011. Bob liked to play bingo, go fishing and mostly sitting on his front porch. He was a member of the Fremont Eagles and had served with the US Army from 1961-1963. Survivors include three children, Tamara (Bill) Harder, Toledo; Holly (Matthew) Bender, Fremont and Robert II (Samantha) Tolliver, Fremont; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one sister, Pammy (D.J.) Nelson E. Decker Nelson E. Decker, 86, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2013; surrounded with love from his two daughters Janie L. Jefferies, of Lancaster, PA., and Pamela S. Asplundh of Pipersville, PA., by his side. Nelson was born in Bellevue, Ohio to Calvin Decker and Gladys Meyer Decker on Sept 24, 1926. Nelson attended the Air Force Academy as a young man. After leaving the academy he went to work as an engineer for Cadillac, a Division of GMC Motors in Cleveland, Ohio, till he departed to work for Eaton, Yale and Towne as an Engineer in PA. He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Huntingdon Valley, PA., where he served as an usher. Nelson was a member of Mensa International; and in his retirement he moved to Naples, FL., where he joined the Friendship Force of America. He traveled extensively spreading good will for America. You will be missed greatly. Nelson married his true love from first grade the late Janet L. Gibson Decker of Clyde, Ohio.
